I had the best luck with Tantan when I was actually in Asia. When I was in the US, EastMeetsEast + regular Tinder with my location set to big Asian cities worked better than all the “special” Asian dating sites.

Most of the “Asian singles” sites were just paid chat in my experience. Bumble, Tinder and Coffee Meets Bagel with a wider distance + using a VPN to set my location gave me more real women than any niche site.

Tried a bunch, the only one that consistently gave me real convos was Tantan. The rest felt like recycled profiles and copy paste messages, especially the ones heavily advertised to Western guys.

If a site makes you buy coins just to read or send messages, I’m out. Free or normal subscription apps like Tinder, Bumble, Tantan and OKCupid worked way better for finding legit Asian matches.
