Depends entirely on where she’s from and how she grew up. Mexico City professional women are often quite modern — feminist, career-focused, egalitarian. Small-city or rural women from more conservative states can be very traditional. Mexico is not one thing.
The Catholicism runs deeper than in Colombia or even parts of Central America in my experience. It shapes attitudes toward divorce, toward sex before marriage, toward family roles. That’s not better or worse — it’s just different, and you need to know what you’re engaging with.
