    Same advice I give everyone: any platform is fine, but you need to be there in person within three to six months or it dies. Latin women are not interested in long penpals. They want to see that you’re real and that you’ll actually show up. I’ve met guys who’ve been ‘dating online’ for two years and never visited. That’s not dating.

    I booked my own Airbnb instead of staying with her or in a hotel she suggested, and I’m glad I did. Gave me space in case things were awkward and kept money separate from the relationship.
